Accident Damage Insurance and Management Program with specialization Damage Management is a professional bachelor program which is offered for the first time in Kosovo by the Tempulli Academy. The studies last three years or six semesters and require 180 ECTS points, after the successful completion of the studies the student gains the academic Bachelor professional title in “Insurance and accident damage management” with specialization Damage Assessment.
The program aims to provide students with basic and specialized knowledge of damage assessment and the application of this knowledge in practice by establishing a strong link between theoretical knowledge and their qualification in practice.

The purpose of this course is to engage students in actively discovering the principles of risk management. The course enables students to learn and understand insurance legislation, at various stages, law of violation, legal systems and insurance laws, insurance contracts and their definition with the inclusion of insurance legislation in Kosovo and the EU, based on EU directive on Insurance. It also discusses the description and understanding of e-marketing terminology, concepts and activities, identifying the latest developments and their origins in e-marketing practices.
Semester V
The course enables students to learn the process of insurance claims, from the beginning, ie from the opening of the claim file to its payment, if it is payable. The administration of a claim starts from the first submission by the applicant, who must first be identified, whether he submits the claim himself or through his legal representative. How long does it take to register the request, open the file, check if the submitted documentation is correct and not false. Checking the obligation of the claim, evaluating the claim with all its units, double checking the whole process once again, and finally informing the claimant about the claim and the compensation he will receive. If he agrees, the claim will be paid.
The course enables students to learn the process of insurance claims, from the beginning, learning the difference between material and non-material damages. What is a material claim. How should this claim be handled, who is eligible for compensation from a financial claim, assessing the claim. What is an immaterial claim, (bodily injury, death) its treatment including the examination of the doctor in the treatment of the damage, the assessment of the advances of the claim and the time of its total / final settlement.
The course enables students to learn about property claims. What and what are these claims, how to identify them, checking their responsibility. Evidence of the lawsuit and its filing. Evaluation and review of the request. Investigation of the lawsuit in cooperation with the plaintiff and other entities involved, such as the police, firefighters, etc. Elaboration and assessment of claims of all damaged property units by professionals, such as damaged buildings, equipment, furniture and other items within the damaged property.
The course enables students to learn the security of what is an international requirement, both materially and intangible. Who can file an international claim, verification of liability of the claim.
