Tomorrow in Pristina, the summit of Rail Excellence will be held where the members of the Transport Community, the transport industry and academy will come together. Tomorrow’s conference is the biggest event in the region that aims to improve the integration of the railway system of the Western Balkans into the railway system of the European Union. This summit will further improve the policy agenda as well as contribute to a safer, more efficient, interacting, digitized, sustainable and green development of rail transport systems in the Western Balkans region.
As part of the Summit, discussions will be held with representatives of government institutions, the transport community, railway companies, professional educational institutions, who will express their position as well as possible proposals for improving the situation. Tomorrow will also be the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation for Railway Excellence between the relevant regional railway operators and academic/educational institutions. Professor Muhamed Krasniqi will participate from the Tempulli, who will speak about the contribution that this institution has been offering for years in increasing intellectual capacities for railway transport operators in the country and beyond.
