The world congress was opened by the Prime Minister of the Czech government and then the ministers of traffic and transport from the Czech, Slovak and Spanish governments and the organizers of this event continued with a welcome speech. Among the many high personalities in this field, Mr. Jean Todt, UN Commissioner for Road Safety.
In recent years, the whole world has turned its attention to increasing road safety and reducing road traffic accidents. Road accidents are among the biggest killers of humanity in the world, so once again this world level meeting is discussing the measures and actions that need to be taken in order to increase the safety of the movement for all participants on the road.
The Congress will continue its proceedings throughout the week with various discussion panels from participants from around the world. Several exhibitions of smart devices for road safety will be organized as well as various workshops will be held bringing the ideas and technological innovations of road safety systems.
