“Adem Jashari” International Airport, being a bridge between Kosovo and the World, plays a very important role in the traffic of people and goods and serves as the main artery for traffic and air transport. Because the Tempulli had within its framework the Air Traffic and Transport Studies Program, several graduated students – Alumni of the Tempulli, are now employed at this Airport, and they perform various functions.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to get a lot of information about the organization of the airlines and the way the Airport operates, both for the transport of passengers and goods. Various parts of the Airport were visited, such as the check-in counters, passenger control, scanners, exits, the airport runway, and the luggage waiting area. All the time Mr. Bujar Gashi from the Public Relations Office informed the students in detail about all the processes and procedures on how an international airport operates.
