Directors and Manipulators of Dangerous Goods ADR

Training programs are based on:

  1. European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) Volume I dhe II.
  2. Law 2004/6 on Transport of Dangerous Goods.
  3. IRU Academy programs, for ADR Course for drivers transporting dangerous goods, packed and not packed.

Purpose of the training

Training courses based on IRU Academy programs is adapted to the practical needs of road transport companies and their drivers, preparing them for the increasingly required market in accordance with regulations. All materials are updated with the latest version of the ADR Agreement.

Documents required for registration of the course:

  • Paper for application;
  • Photocopy of identity card or passport;
  • Photocopy of driver’s license for relevant category;
  • Payment form (for attending the course);
  • Receipts in account of Ministry of Infrastructure (for the exam).

Duration of courses

  • Beginner’s course contains 18 lessons;
  • Special Course for transport by cistern contains 12 lessons;
  • Special course for carriage of substances and articles as Class 1, includes 8 lessons;
  • Special Course for the transport of radioactive material as Class 7, includes 8 lessons;
  • The course contains 8 additional hours of training.

Performance evaluation of learning – exams

All candidates who successfully complete lectures from the theoretical part and exercises from the practical part for transport and handling of dangerous goods, will take the examination in front of a professional committee from the Ministry of Infrastructure.

Only people over 18 years old are allowed to work with hazardous substances and are professionally qualified.

Only people over 21 years old are permitted to transport dangerous goods and substances, and only if they have a driving license for appropriate categories and courses – professional exams.
