We completed the series of work-meetings initiated by Professor Muhamed Krasniqi, in the framework of the preparation of activities to mark the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. 25 years have passed since the day dedicated to the memory of road traffic victims, where it began to be monitored internationally, for the first ten years by the European Federation of Road Traffic Victims (FEVR). Numerous FEVR member organizations including RoadPeace from the United Kingdom in 1995 introduced this Day for the first time with strong support from the WHO and UNRSC members, UN Member States adopted Resolution 60/5 of the General Assembly. The United Nations on October 26, 2005, called for an annual World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, as a special day dedicated and dedicated to road accident victims and their families.

This year, for the sixth time in Kosovo, nationwide activities are carried out by Tempulli, the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Kosovo Police and AMRKS. The activities are officially coordinated by the Kosovo Motorization Association as a regular member of FEVR. The activities are also supported by the partner of the Kosovo Forum for Road Safety, the Association of Kosovo Municipalities and the Municipality of Pristina. For six (6) years now, Kosovo activities have been regularly presented in the official WDoR calendar.
